It's amazing how many children suffer from Austism, and how few people understand it.

Great slideshow! Also, cool new header! I love it.

I really liked this too. What a cute kid!

I was interested in the part where with the diagnosis their insurance paid for speech & OT. If it was here in Utah, they would have been sure not to pay for it. It's something that we need to work on here and at the national level - to get rid of health care discrimination against people with autism.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the video.

Don - Utah recently passed Clay's Law which requires insurance to pay for Autism related therapies. It's slowly being passed throughout the US. Hopefully soon, there will be much better coverage for families.

I know when Isaac was diagnosed, we were very careful to keep autism out of all of his medical records because if the insurance company found out about it - they would stop paying for ear infection treatments and anything else that could be tied back to autism. I'm glad to finally see these insurance laws being put into place.
